Thank you, Ken "The Hawk" Harrelson!!!

I'm Primarily a Mets fan, But as a Partial White Sox fan, I have listened to Ken "The Hawk" Harrelson for quite some time.

Though he wasn't everyone's favorite Broadcaster, he was Considered a "Homer" and all of those things, there are Lots of "Vanilla" Broadcasters out there, Hawk was not even CLOSE to Vanilla! His Hawkisms such as "Grab some Bench!", "Can of Corn", "Sacks Packed", "He Gone" and most Famously "YOU CAN PUT IT ON THE BOARD, YES!" He was and Always will be Pure Baseball all the time! Sharing his Memories through the Years, 42 Years of Broadcasting and 33 years with the White Sox!

STRETCH! Hawk was NEVER Afraid to speak his mind, He let his listeners know what he was thinking, Whether it's the Cubs, an Umpire (Mainly Joe West) or a Player on his own Team or another Team, He made it clear what his emotions and feelings were.

YOU GOTTA BE BLEEPIN ME! Today was Hawk's Final game! He goes on to Retire after a Brilliant career! Baseball isn't going to be the same without him and his Hawkisms, but his Hawkisms live on through us fans no matter what team we root for! We've all heard at least one of his Hawkisms.

MERCY! I'm choked up Just writing this about him! I wish he could Broadcast longer, because after today, Baseball Broadcasting will never have the type of attitude like he had!

It's been a Wild Ride Hawk, Thank you for everything and for one last time:

"HE GONE!"

"YOU CAN PUT IT ON THE BOARD! YES!"
