Buying in: The Mets Support Callaway.

Happy, Go lucky Sunday everyone!

It's time for another Splendiferous edition of "Sunday Reading"

Last time, we talked about a What-could-be Turnaround for the Mets with the incredible tear they were on.

This past week has slowed down for the Mets, however this is 100% Normal for any Baseball team. If we're going from Last Sunday, the August 11th to today August 18th, The Mets have gone 2-4 with a loss against Washington in the Last home stand, Losing two out of 3 to the Braves and so far losing the series opener to the Royals.

With the Rubber game coming up later on Today and the Mets going 2 for 3 on the Road Trip so far, they have a chance to Finish the 6 game Road trip one to be satisfied with before heading back home to face the Indians, Braves and Cubs.

The Interesting thing with the Mets is that even though in games they have lost, they have always fought back to make the game interesting or tie/take the lead. Those games would end in either Double plays or Pop outs in disappointing fashion. The thing is, this Mets team doesn't sit down when facing a possible loss. They scratch and claw their way back to make the Game interesting.

If you were to ask any Mets fan at the beginning of the 2nd half if the Mets had a chance to fight for a Post Season spot, whether it be Wild Card or fight for the Division, most would've laughed and said there's no way.

I, Myself said to Friends, Family and others that I would like the Mets to make the Second Half interesting. They've made it Very Interesting so far, going from 14 games under .500, to 3 to 4 games over .500 and only 2 games out of the Wild Card spot and 9 games out of the Division.

Even though the Division is a far cry, it's still entirely possible.

Since the All-star Break, The Mets have gone 23 and 10 and possibly one of, if not the Best record in Baseball in the second half! It's incredible what this Mets team has done. Going from almost the worst team in the League, to making an Epic comeback to attempt to make the Post Season!

If the Mets do make the Post Season, there is a legitimate chance that manager Mickey Callaway, who was rumored to have his Job threatened, could be a Candidate or even a Manager of the Year!

With General Manager Brodie Van Wagenen expressing his support for his Manager multiple times, Mickey Callaway and the Mets have turned the Season around dramatically! Even though lots of fans don't like Callaway and Van Wagenen, The Team Brodie has given Callaway in the 2nd Half with the Addition of Marcus Stroman and not trading Noah Syndergaard, Zack Wheeler, Edwin Diaz or other pieces, The Mets have been the Team to watch around the League.

Red Sox manager Alex Cora was quoted on August 12th saying "You look around the league and what’s happening, at Citi Field with the Mets, you win 14 out of 15, it happens. We know what we have to do the rest of the season. We can do it, but it starts here in Cleveland."

The Red Sox have drawn inspiration from The Mets and as much as Mets fans dislike Boston (as much as any New York Baseball fan), It's something to behold indeed. The Mets are still out of the Wild Card by 2 games and the Division by 9, but they have a legitimate chance to make the Post Season.

The players have bought into Mickey Callaway and Brodie Van Wagenen. If they didn't, we wouldn't be seeing this kind of Turnaround from the Mets!

That's all for Today!

Until the Next article my Friends,

LETS GO METS!!!
