Mets Fans Desperate Plea for Wally Backman

I Wake up in the Morning and what do I see? I see fans Whining and Complaining that Wally Backman should be Manager for The Mets....Well, Let me ask this if that's the case:

Why, and I mean why should The Mets or any Major League Team for that Matter Hire a Guy who Openly Bashes a Team they Just left claiming Management Tried to "Blackball" them and later that Organization confirm that they did no such thing?

Also, How come The Arizona Diamondbacks keep around after a Background Check revealed that he had some issues?

How come the Acereros de Monclova of the Mexican Leagues FIRE him after only 42 games in the Season? He found work as a Bench Coach for the Pericos de Puebla of the Same Mexican League.

Now This Year, He finds work in the Same League and Division as the Long Island Ducks. He couldn't score a Job in a for a Minor League Team and had to Resort to being out of anything MLB Related for 2 years.

Now because one Video Surfaced of him throwing a fit at a teams poor play, Swearing up and down like a Sailor and all of a Sudden, Mets fans think he's the end all, be all for the Mets.

I get that The Mets are doing horribly (Don't make me Talk about it), But Hiring Backman wouldn't Do the Team any Justice. The only thing it would do, is make the Team more Laughable and Humiliating than it is now, Because of a Big Mouthed Manager who can't control his Temper on and off the Field.

Remember when Backman Didn't like a Call and Threw a Tantrum and throw Bats and a Buckets of Baseballs out of a Dugout after he was Ejected after a Home run Call?

"Oh, The Team needs a Good Kick in the Pants" or "The Team needs Attitude" (I'm being Clean here). So, Because Backman Loses his stack constantly he deserves to be the New Mets Skipper where the Game has changed so much? I don't see many Managers Throwing a Temper Tantrum like him. I get that Ejections are one thing and to get "Your Money's Worth" after you got the Heave Ho, and I've seen some Managers air out to the Umpires, Covering the Plate and staying out as long as they need to, But I do not See Managers throw Bats or even Throw Buckets of Baseballs out on the Field to make a Point or because they're still miffed.

One can make a Case when Lloyd McClendon took First Base with him when he was the Pirates Manager Many Moons ago, But McClendon's last Major League Managerial Stint was with the Mariners. After that he was the Manager of The Mariners, He went Unemployed in 2016 (So we Know) and in 2017, Became the Manager for the Tigers Triple A Team, The Toledo Mud hens. Toledo went 70-71 and Didn't make the Playoffs. HOWEVER, McClendon Made it Back to the Majors as the Hitting Coach for the Tigers, But Now I digress.

Back to Backman.

Backman, to myself and a Good Portion of Mets fans isn't a good fit for the Mets. Just like those fans who would look to Lenny Dykstra for "Realism" took what he said about the Team to heart.

Make no Mistake, I'm NOT Bashing Backman or Dykstra's Playing Career. I'm Pointing out as to why Backman would be Completely Unfit for The Mets Skipper or Any Teams Skipper for that Matter.

If Backman can make a Major League Comeback or a Comeback to anything Affiliated to Major league Baseball, Then Good for him....But I Doubt He'll come back into the Major Leagues after he openly Bashed Alderson and the Mets, Especially after the Mets Confirmed that Alderson would Never deliberately Sabotage someone. Backman did that all by himself by making himself look Foolish with the Accusation. He Basically "Blackballed" himself by doing bashing Alderson and Failing a Background Check after Virtually getting the Job with the Diamondbacks.

With All of that Being Said:

LETS GO METS!!!
