My Take on deGrom and Syndergaard to The Yankees.

IT WON'T HAPPEN!

Ask Much as most of Mets fans hate the Wilpons, They're not going to Allow their Star Pitchers to Pitch for the Cross town Rivals and Possibly Pop Champagne with them in October.

The Mets REFUSED to Trade: Lucas Duda, Jay Bruce and Addison Reed to the Yankees, Why would the Mets even think about Trading their 2 Studs to the Bronx?

Another Thing, The Yankees WON'T Trade a Gleyber Torres to the Mets in Exchange for a Pitcher because all it takes for a Pitcher is One Pitch, and he could possibly End his Career. A Position Player can get hurt, and come back and not have to worry like you would a Pitcher.

Why, I'll Ask again, Why would you trade your #1 Prospect (Torres) for a Starting Pitcher, when you know the Risk is big and like i stated Previously, All it takes is for ONE Pitch and The Pitcher Could be Done for the Season or more!

If the Mets were to Trade deGrom and Syndergaard or even one of them, You are setting yourself back even more! You will be putting yourself through ANOTHER Rebuild like what the Mets did from 2011-2014 with Terry Collins!

The Key thing for the Mets is to sign deGrom and Syndergaard Long Term and Build around them. The Mets have (Future) Dominic Smith/Peter Alonso at 1st Base, Guillorme at 2nd Base, Rosario at Shortstop, Frazier at 3rd, Cespedes in Left, Conforto in Center, Bruce in Right, Mesoraco Catching with Nido, and the Rotation would probably be (No Particular Order) deGrom, Syndergaard, Matz, Lugo and Wheeler/Gsellman.

You don't need to trade away your Money Makers in deGrom and Syndergaard....Who are you going to Replace them with? Jason Vargas, Corey Oswalt, Rafeal Montero (When he Comes Back), There are no Replacements that are better than deGrom and Syndergaard out there! If you did, your Rotation would Most likely be: Matz, Lugo, Gsellman, Vargas, Wheeler.

IF the Mets made a Trade to the Yankees, They would NOT get Luis Severino OR Gleyber Torres! That much I can Promise you!
